Area Introduction...

The Dukes of Grafton were the main property owners in this area of central London and the area was named Euston after their country house, Euston hall.

Euston Road runs through the area with King's Cross and St Pancras railway stations are at the eastern end of the road, the British Library nearby, and Euston railway station on the westerly side.

Most people pass through Euston when travelling but there are a lot of good pubs and restaurants in the area. The Euston Tap, in an old Victorian gatehouse with a beer garden is London's only dedicated cider house, featuring cider on draught, still ciders bottled cider and Perry as well as wheat beers and real ale.

If you like to watch live sporting events then The Euston Flyer near the station is a traditional pub with outdoor seating.
